Dan's Hinnys

Congratulations to Angel who was confirmed in foal by ultrasound, we expect our first Hinny to be born in August 2009, check back to see the photos.
The heart of Dan's breeding program is Angelina Julie, a miniature donkey born on our farm.  She is currently being bred by Taylor, a miniature horse stallion that was raised with her in hopes of getting a mini hinny next year.  A hinny (pronounced henny) is different than a mule, as it has more horse characteristics.  It is difficult to find a horse stallion that will breed with a donkey, so wish Dan luck with his breeding program.

Because White Oak Township is relatively ignored by the local weather stations, I have decided to report my own weather, and as Angel is quite opinionated and refuses to go outside in bad weather I am going to have her predict the weekly weather.

My beloved sister is the blond in the pink shirt, to be fair and prevent jealously, I included our whole family.  We are not directly related to the coon, we adopted him after his mother was killed and released him when was big enough to take care of himself.

Dan has his private pilot's license and I took the photos above of our horse farm when I flew with him for the first time this past December.  It maybe a while before I take more aerial photography.
